Tool Tip: Changing layer transparency

Once you have selected the layers you'd like to view on your customized map, you can alter their transparency to display the data differently.

Locate the Legend

All layers you toggle on and off will automatically be added to the Legend, located in the upper left-hand corner of the map. Click on it to see all of the current map layers.

Adjust Layer Transparency

For each layer, you will notice a 'View layer options' button below; click on this button to reveal your transparency options.

All layers default to 80% transparency; you can adjust this by moving the slider higher or lower.
